Mold Inspection & Testing Brick Township, NJ

As professionals within the industry, we adhere to a specific set of rules to ensure the best possible outcome for every mold situation. The first step is establishing if mold is present within your Brick Township property. This is achieved through testing procedures that provide accurate results. A structured testing process allows our team to identify all areas of mold growth without making general recommendations for removal. Below is a bullet-point breakdown of our mold inspection and testing process:

  • Visual inspection – This includes visually inspecting the entire property for any overt signs of mold growth or other clues to undiscovered mold issues. Every inspection comes with digital photos of the affected spots.
  • Moisture mapping – We also conduct a moisture intrusion inspection using thermal imaging and radio-wave moisture meters in all spots prone to high moisture levels. This includes the ductwork and the HVAC system. A thermal imaging camera helps us identify anything that’s not visible to the naked eye.
  • Testing – Based on the inspection results and if mold was detected, we proceed to the next step- testing. Mold test samples are obtained from surface and air, which are further sub-cultured for enumeration and identification of mold species. All sampling and swab test requirements will be discussed with you beforehand and kept to a minimum to prevent unnecessary costs.
  • Report of findings – After the tests are done, we will provide reliable and computer-generated lab results showing whether the mold levels in your property pose a health risk.

Mold Remediation & Removal Brick Township, NJ

The presence of mold in your Brick Township home is problematic for various reasons. Chief among them:

  • Mold may cause health problems for anyone who resides in the home. For some people, exposure to mold can result in symptoms such as wheezing, stuffy nose, and itchy eyes or skin. Those allergic to mold may even experience more intense reactions.
  • Visible mold growth is usually a sign of a more serious issue with the plumbing or home structure.

Mold removal protects your health, preserves the structural integrity of your house, and remediates the damp smell linked with mold. Now, it is worth noting that every mold situation is different and requires a unique approach to removal. This is why AAA Lead Professionals always conduct an initial scope of work assessment to determine the damage and devise the most effective removal strategy. That said, here is a brief outline of the steps involved in removing mold from your Brick Township home:

  • Mold containment – We start by containing the identified area to prevent mold from spreading to other parts of your home.
  • Air filtration – Besides containment, the air should be cleaned as well. Using HEPA filters and negative air machines, mold spores and dust are removed from the affected area.
  • HEPA Vacuuming – We also employ HEPA Vacuum and air scrubbers as needed. It is advisable to HEPA vacuum and scrub surfaces where mold was spotted. Typical vacuums shouldn’t be used as they may allow the spores to spread in the air, defeating the whole purpose of removal.
  • Demolition and removal – We remove any drywall, carpeting, furniture, and other material that houses mold colonies.
  • Application of antimicrobial agent – In addition, we administer a powerful antimicrobial treatment that eliminates any existing mold.
  • Scrub and wipe clean – Our team will clean the contaminated surfaces thoroughly to remove the mold. This may be achieved by scrubbing with wire brushes, electric sanders, and special cleaning wipes.
  • Re-HEPA Vacuum – We repeat the vacuuming process again to ensure all the mold spores are removed.
  • Mold-proofing coating – After the mold has been addressed, we apply a mold-coating solution that ensures that no new mold forms again in the area.
  • Confirm clean-up – We conduct another inspection and test to determine that all the mold has been removed.

    What Our Clients Say

AAA Lead professionals took care of my mold problem from start to finish. They were professional , knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. I have been having a mold problem in my basement since we bought the home two years ago and we have worked with several mold remediation companies to try and get rid of the mold, it always came back 6 weeks later. It is now six month since AAA Lead Professionals performed there work and the basement is still mold free. We can finally start using our basement without having to worry about our health. Thanks so much for everything. You have really earned a five start review from me.

    Sara Sicker

I hired AAA Lead Pros to do the mold remediation in my basement. Within an hour of my initial call someone came out to give me an estimate and mold assessment report. Initially, I was not happy to find they charged for the estimate. Once I received the quote back that quickly changed. Lead Pros are extremely well priced. I’m talking a third of what their competitors attempted to charge me. They were also willing deduct the cost of the estimate off the final price of the job. I hired them on the spot after receiving the quote and they were on the job site within a week. As for the work itself, I could not be more satisfied. The supervisor was friendly and willing to ease the concerns of both myself and the tenants by answering an onslaught of our questions. Once the walls and floors started being torn down it became clear to them that to do the job correctly far more material would need to be removed than what was initially agreed upon. This was done at no additional cost to me which made it clear in my mind that they are dedicated to getting the job done correctly without trying to take advantage of their customers. The mold killing agent that was used was a green product so it was not necessary to vacate the premise during the time the work was going on. All contaminated materials were removed and hauled off site. Anything which could not be removed (structural support beams) were treated and encapsulated. They also used an air scrubber which was left running for 24 hours straight to ensure any disturbed mold spores would not further contaminate the air and job site. After the job was concluded I felt compelled to tip them for their great service. They wouldn’t even accept the tip! This is why I felt personally obligated to leave them this positive review. I am normally very skeptical of contractors so it is refreshing to find an outfit like this with integrity. They will absolutely be getting my business again should the need ever arise.

I’ve used AAA Lead Professionals multiple times for projects we’ve done. We’ve had renovation projects with mold in the crawlspaces, asbestos shingles and tile on another project, and lead on exterior paint of an older house. AAA took care of all these problems in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price. Happy to use their services and to refer them to others.
